Simple solution, put a piece of black masking tape over the tiny IR receiver on the Antec Fusion case.. You need to be sitting directly in front of the case and at a narrow angle to get it to work.. When watching TV, it will display the TV show I'm watching from the EPG, if I hit 'pause' on the remote, 'pause' is displayed on the VFD.. The IR receiver in the case is only activated after login so I must use a keyboard to login! The IR receiver in the case does not have a wide angle/range. HERE

All standard enough stuff However, there were a couple of problems with the IR receiver in the Antec fusion case.. I wanted a way to disable the IMON IR receiver in the case but and leave the VFD working but I couldn't find it.. I know it sounds trivial, but it wasn't obvious to me Now I have the VFD working on the front of the case and the USB IR receiver that work from boot (before login)..
